Tata Chemicals South Africa (TCSA) terminal is situated at the Durban harbour Maydon Wharf 14 precinct. The terminal has a storage warehouse that has a capacity of 25 000-28 000 metric tons. Most of the product soda ash is imported from the USA and Kenya and off-loaded at this terminal mainly in bulk form. It is stored in the warehouse and later loaded in enclosed pneumatic road tankers or bagged into 1mt, 50kg or 25kg bags and distributed to the customers using road flat deck trucks.
