Tata Chemicals inaugurates oxygen plant in Jam Rawal Health Centre of Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat

The company has installed 200 LPH PSA oxygen plants aiding to the needs of around 50000 people across 25 villages

Mithapur, May 22, 2022: Tata Chemicals over the years has undertaken several initiatives for the safety and well-being of the community. On Sunday, the company with its CSR arm Tata Chemicals Society for Rural Development (TCSRD) inaugurated an oxygen plant at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Jam Raval of Kalyanpur Taluka, Dist. Devbhumi Dwarka, in the presence of Hon. chief guest Mr Raghavjibhai Patel (Minister of Agriculture & Animal husbandry, Gujarat State), Mukesh Pandya(Collector, Devbhoomi Dwarka), D J Jadeja (District Development officer) and Mr N Kamath, Chief Manufacturing Officer & Site Head Mithapur, Tata Chemicals.

The company has renovated the interiors of the health centre, along with installing an oxygen plant of 200 LPH PSA. This will aid the needs of around 50000 community members in the Jam Raval Municipal area and about 25 villages around it

During the COVID -19 pandemic, Tata Chemicals had undertaken several initiatives like regular sanitisation activities, supplying disinfectants, making masks, augmenting medical facilities, and raising awareness amongst the communities. In the recent past, the company commissioned a state-of-the-art Oxygen Plant at Mithapur Hospital. Making it completely self-sufficient in terms of medical oxygen supply and also enhancing the medical facility with Medical Gas Pipeline Supply (MPGS).
