Tata Chemicals wins three awards at prestigious PRCI Annual Awards

Tata Chemicals bagged three awards for excellence in communications at the recently held prestigious Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Annual Awards at Bangalore on April 4, 2009.

TCL won gold for Manthan — for the best internal communications tabloid in the country, a silver for the TCL corporate brochure and a bronze for the TCL corporate film at the awards instituted by PRCI.

Speaking on the achievement, B Sudhakar, chief human resources officer, Tata Chemicals, said, “At TCL we strive to excel in all the modes of communication and focus is on making TCL a well-informed organisation. Unique combination of HR and communications working closely in creating effective platforms for communications has done wonders at TCL and has contributed significantly to TCL's image both internally and externally. Such accolades from the industrial bodies like PRCI motivate us to do even better and raise the bar always.”

The PRCI Annual Awards is the most prestigious event in the realm of corporate communications. There are seven categories of awards — gold, silver and bronze, which are awarded in each category. The jury consists of eminent personalities from the world of mass media. Over the years, the PRCI national awards have gained substantial standing in the PR community across thousands of corporates in India.
