Tata Chemicals receives ICMA Aditya Birla Award for Best Responsible Care Committed Company (2003-04)

On the recommendations of the awards selection committee, the executive committee of ICMA has unanimously conferred the ICMA Aditya Birla Award for Best Responsible Care Committed Company for the year 2003-04 on Tata Chemicals Limited jointly with United Phosphorous Limited.

Said Mr Prasad Menon, MD, Tata Chemicals, "The company's vision, mission and values, as well as business plans and activities are aligned with the Tata Group objective of improving the quality of life. The ICMA Aditya Birla Award is a reward of Tata Chemicals' commitment to continuous improvement in performance as regards environment protection, health and safety and adherence to the guiding principles and management practices."

The participation in this process provided Tata Chemicals an opportunity to network with other chemical companies and professionals who are working relentlessly towards promoting the Responsible Care commitment.
