Tata Chemicals' fertiliser division gets IMC award

The Indian Merchants' Chamber has conferred its 'environment, agriculture and rural development' award for 2001 on Tata Chemicals Limited's fertiliser division in Babrala, Uttar Pradesh. The award, which is decided by the trustees of the Chamber's 'diamond jubilee endowment trust', was given to Tata Chemicals for "its outstanding contribution to promoting the growth of India's rural economy".
