Tata Chemicals awarded second prize at CII Agro Tech 2012

The Tata Chemicals Farm Essentials team won the second prize at the 10th edition of CII Agro Tech, India's premier biennial agro technology and business fair at Chandigarh. Tata Chemicals was awarded the second prize in the Best Exhibitor Stall Display and Design category in the Good Earth Pavilion, which was exclusively dedicated to leading agri and farm equipment technology companies like Coromandel International, DCM Shriram, PI Industries, IPL, GSFC, Shell, Apollo Tyres, Parry Industries, etc.

With 'Sustainable Agriculture' as its continuing theme, the agri technology fair aimed at congregating the agri business community globally, integrating technological advancements promoting environmental stewardship and provide technical knowledge to the farming community, all under one roof.

The TCL Farm Essentials stall showcased the company's leading brands in crop nutrition – Tata Paras, TKS in agri retail, and crop protection offerings from Rallis India. A miniature TKS store, set up in the stall premises with a farm advisor station for handling farmer queries, attracted a lot of attention and footfalls.

The event provided TCL an excellent opportunity for farmer interaction, brand promotion and crop advisory based product recommendations, where the team utilised its expertise to resolve trade and farmer queries.

The Best Stall Display award was given to International Packaging Products, with TCL bagging the second position. Winners were judged on a host of criteria, like flair and innovation in stall design, demonstration of products and services, customer dedicated initiatives at the stall, strong visual presence, and imagery to showcase corporate mission, vision, values and brands.
