Tata Chemicals bags CNBC Asia’s India Corporate Social Responsibility Award

Tata Chemicals received CNBC Asia’s India Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2012. R Mukundan, managing director, Tata Chemicals, received this prestigious award at the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) ceremony held at Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai. While accepting the award, Mr Mukundan said, “This is for all the employees of TCL who spent countless hours volunteering to do what we love to do. And this is also a true testimony of what we cherish to do – the Tata values and the Tata spirit. This award recognises our ability to translate the company’s success into social benefits. It salutes TCL’s endeavours to make social impact a corporate strategy, aligning social contribution with corporate strategy.”
