Rallis launches Amplus, an innovative and modern high-yield technology-based product for improving soil fertility and farmers' prosperity

Pune: Rallis India, a Tata enterprise, is a major agri solution provider company in India. The company has been associated with the farming community for the past over 160 years and continuously strives to improve farm productivity through innovative product and service offerings. Some of the most successful brands being used by the farmers across the country are from the Rallis stable, like ASATAF, TAKUMI, APPLAUD, CONTAF & RALLI GOLD to name a few.

In line with the tradition, Rallis has launched one more product named Amplus, an innovative and modern technology HYT™ based microbial bio product. Amplus helps in enhancing the soil fertility. The unique and proprietary manufacturing process of Amplus™ results in highly stable form of microbes ("encapsulation"). The stability of microbes in Amplus™ enhances the viability and shelf life of the product line and to give better results. Amplus™ will be delivered to the growers in Agrinos' India Star 2014 award winning packaging.

Amplus has been introduced in Indian market after extensive field evaluation studies jointly by Rallis India and Agrinos India Pvt. Ltd in India. The product line was launched by COO of Rallis India, KR Venkatadri. The occasion was graced by Dr Wagner, CEO, Agrinos AS; Ellen C Rasmussen, EVP, Head, Agrinos EMAE / Asia business, representing Agrinos.

Mr Venkatadri told the media that Amplus™ is highly efficient in fixing atmospheric nitrogen, sustains soil health by decomposing plant residues and stabilising C:N ratio of soil, improves texture, structure and water holding capacity of soil.

Dr Wagner stated "Agrinos's relationship with Rallis is an important platform to build the market for Agrinos HYT® product line in India, bringing prosperity to the grower, the crop, and the soil. The cooperation will help bringing new innovative products, such as Amplus™, to the Indian markets now and in the future."

The launch programme was attended by many senior managers from Rallis and Agrinos, along with Rallis channel partners & RKK Farmers.
