Mumbai: Rallis India, a Tata enterprise, bagged the prestigious CII-EXIM Award for Business Excellence at the CII National Quality Summit held in Bangalore today. This prestigious award, received by V Shankar, managing director and CEO of Rallis India, is the highest recognition in the CII-EXIM Business Excellence assessment and is awarded to the organisation recognised for following highest level of practices for business excellence. The CII-Exim assessment process follows the excellence model based on European Foundation for Quality Management.
For Rallis India, this is yet another milestone in its excellence journey after winning the JRD QV award last year, which is the highest recognition of excellence within the Tata group based on the Malcolm Balridge excellence model.
Speaking on the recognition, Mr Shankar said, "Receiving this honour is a valuable endorsement of our actions in the enterprise, enhances our team's morale and motivates us to do more. I thank all Ralliites for their firm commitment towards continuous improvement in business excellence. In recent years, we have undergone a paradigm shift in our approach and I am elated this journey is well acknowledged by all our stakeholders."
