PK Ghose honoured with the CFO of the year award

The India CFO awards 2003, instituted by IMA India (an associate of Economist Corporate Network, a subsidiary of The Economist Group, UK) in association with American Express Corporate Services and American Express, honoured Mr PK Ghose for his achievements in cost optimisation.

Mr MS Verma, former chairman of State Bank of India and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, was the leader of the jury, which also included Mr Adi Godrej, Chairman, Godrej Group, and Mr Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Enterprises. The jury conferred awards to individuals who have demonstrated a spirit of leadership in their field of expertise, and equally importantly represent an extremely well rounded personality that can be emulated across the field of finance.

The awards honour individuals who have demonstrated outstanding capabilities and achievements in the wake of fundamental transformations to their core functions. Nominations were assessed in terms of value creation, strategic vision and leadership, creativity and effectiveness.
