Indian Chemical Council (ICC) confers the ICC award for social responsibility 2005-06 on Tata Chemicals

Based on the recommendations of its awards selection committee, the executive committee of ICC has unanimously decided to confer the ICC award for social responsibility for the year 2005-06 on Tata Chemicals. The award will be presented at a special function to be organised shortly.

Reacting to the news, Homi Khusrokhan, managing director, Tata Chemicals, said, "We are indeed honored to receive this recognition from the ICC. This award reflects the enthusiasm shown by our employees in volunteering for community development initiatives. The recognition reinforces our belief in the activities that we do under Tata Chemicals Society for Rural Development (TCSRD) for the communities close to our plants."
