Wyoming - Over 200 people attended the event at the Lyman Branch Library for a reading session during the International Literacy Month. A generous donation from Tata Chemicals North America went towards purchasing giveaway books from First Book Marketplace; according to Susie Worthern, librarian, this made the event possible. In addition, volunteers from Tata Chemicals also read to the children.

"Promoting children's literacy is a commitment that Tata in North America has been dedicated to for many years. We are so thrilled to commemorate International Literacy Month with Lyman Branch Library by participating in this reading celebration with local children," said Kim Genereux, supervisor of Learning & Development at Tata Chemicals. "Children who read for pleasure become lifelong readers. We hope our gift of books to the children will help to build their home libraries and reinforce their curiosity and interest in reading."
