Tata Chemicals' Hope volunteers celebrate Children’s Day with children from Janvi Charitable trust

On November 14, 2010, Tata Chemicals' (TCL) Hope volunteers and their kids celebrated Children’s Day with 50 children from the Janvi Charitable trust.

The day started with the Hope kids presenting seven skits on everything they had learnt through TCL's year-long association with them. From recreating the Kaun Banega Crorepati magic, to acting as puppets (re-enacting the puppet show that TCL volunteers had organised for them) and performing yoga on stage (taught to them at the Art Excel course), the kids remembered everything that had been shared with them in the last one year.

The confidence, energy and enthusiasm with which the kids performed before an almost 100-strong audience was truly commendable; all the volunteers were proud to see the difference that Hope’s work had made to them.

This was followed by a magic show, which was much appreciated by the children. Delicious snacks and a freewheeling interaction with the children narrating their Hope experience made for the perfect finale to the Children’s Day celebrations.
