TCSRD has been working towards the training and employment of the youth in the Okhamandal region for years now. It has set up a skill training centre named Technical Training Institute to look after the employment and skill development of local youths. The five core courses offered at the centre are fashion & tech, beauty & wellness, fitter trade, welder trade and electrician trade. Apart from these courses, youths are also sent to various places for on-ground training in areas like nursing, fire and safety. The youths are also trained in soft skills areas. Such skills help them to be employment ready.
