Tata Salt Lite paves the way to a healthy lifestyle on World Hypertension Day
Organises nationwide hypertension awareness drive and blood pressure check-up camps across eight cities on May 18 -19
Mumbai: Tata Salt Lite, India's leading low-sodium iodised salt, aimed at helping to manage healthy blood pressure levels, is organising free blood pressure check-up and awareness camps in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad on May 18-19 to observe World Hypertension Day on May 17, 2013.
In order to create awareness about hypertension as a disease, which has become alarmingly widespread, Tata Salt Lite is holding these camps to emphasise the importance of having a low-sodium daily diet. Low-sodium in diet helps manage hypertension or high blood pressure which is a high risk factor for heart disease and renal failure.
