Tata Chemicals introduces i-Shakti Dals at Coimbatore Culture Fest

Coimbatore: Tata Chemicals partners with Coimbatore Culture Fest — an annual cultural event conducted for students from the renowned schools of Coimbatore. The full-day event had over 10,000 attendees, including about 2,000 students who participated from across the leading schools of Coimbatore and from the five branches of Coimbatore Cultural Academy.

The fest, which was held at RS Puram Kalaiarangam, saw students participating in competitions such as dance, drawing, abacus, music and fancy dress; whereas, the parents were engaged in a free blood pressure camp organised by Tata i-Shakti Dals. The event also had ’Dalu’, an animated character which interacted with the students and their parents to explain the benefits of unpolished dals. It also introduced them to the purest form of dal protein offered by Tata i-Shakti Dals.

Ashvini Hiran, COO, consumer product business, Tata Chemicals, said, “Pulses are a rich source of protein and an integral part of almost every Indian meal. Tata i-Shakti Dals have been launched with the mission to help bridge the existing gap between demand and supply of pulses in the country and provide superior quality and hygienic pulses to Indian households. The range is currently available in Tamil Nadu and 18 other states across India. The product range has been suitably priced for it to be commensurate with the quality and cooking convenience and offers improved protein nutrition for the consumers.”

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony to the students by leading personalities.
