Mumbai: Tata Chemicals collaborated with Enactus India to conduct the national competition of proposed community outreach projects at Taj Land's End, Bandra, Mumbai. The contest brought together students, academics and business leaders on one platform to set a good example of how the community needs to become more socially aware and proactive.

Over 35 Enactus teams across the country participated in this unique competition to showcase how entrepreneurial action is enabling human progress and shaping a better more sustainable world. The teams from across the country presented their projects to over 200 esteemed chairmen, CEOs and MDs from the corporate world who were a part of the judging panel. Besides the projects interesting and insightful panel discussions were conducted on 'Industry-Academia Collaboration' and 'Food Security and Malnutrition in India'.

We believe that this presents a good opportunity for the budding talent India has to offer. The projects showcased at the competition were phenomenal, clearly indicating the vast talent that we as a country possess. It was a pleasure to be a panelist for the discussion on food security and malnutrition, which are the biggest challenges faced by developing nations worldwide, and to have this discussion amidst the future of nations was truly rewarding."
