Tata Chemicals second-quarter net
dips by 8.32 per cent to Rs 43.41 crore

Mumbai: Tata Chemicals has posted a 8.32-per-cent drop
in net profit at Rs 43.41 crore for the second quarter against
Rs 47.35 crore in the same period last year. The drop in net
has been due to a 15.28 per cent fall in turnover to Rs 388.06
crore from Rs 458.07 crore in the second quarter last year.
The company managed to sharply prune its interest outgo by
almost 25 per cent, which had a positive impact on its bottomline.
