Tata Chemicals Limited — interim
dividend

The board of Tata Chemicals Limited, at its meeting held
on Monday, May 20, 2002, declared an interim dividend of 50
per cent (Rs 5 per share) on ordinary shares of Rs 10 each
for the financial year 2001-02. The record date for payment
of this interim dividend has been fixed as June 3, 2002.
