Another Win For Magadi At The Energy Management Awards

Tata Chemicals Magadi won the overall best company runners up trophy in the Energy Management Awards 2007.

The energy management awards ceremony (review for 2005) was held on 7th March 2007 in Nairobi. A total of 29 companies entered the competition for the different categories namely:

	Innovation
	Best energy management team
	Best company on fuel savings
	Best company on electricity savings
	Best overall company on total energy savings

Out of the initial 29 companies, only 13 were short listed for the second round. Tata Chemicals Magadi was also recognised among the companies excelling in energy innovation and those with the best energy management team.
