Briskarb® is a special grade of sodium bicarbonate manufactured and supplied by Tata Chemicals Europe for use in flue gas treatment systems.

Briskarb® has a proven performance record in different industries, and it effectively abates acidic gases such as hydrogen chloride and sulphur dioxide..

Briskarb® is available as a standard grade, which requires milling prior to injection in order to achieve optimal performance. Where in-situ milling is not cost effective, Briskarb® Premium (a pre-milled product) is available for direct use.
