standards: Ordinary
Portland Cement-Grade-43 is a high strength cement
confirming of IS 8112:1989. The cement is ideally
suitable for all kinds of normal constructions
of buildings, commercial complexes and residential
units. Ordinary Portland Cement-Grade-43 is manufactured
by grinding high quality clinker at a fineness
of around 3000 cm2/gm. The cement has
an initial setting time of around 110 minutes
and final setting time of 195 minutes. It gives
a compressive strength of around 560 kg/cm2
after 28 days of curing (as per BIS Standards
for testing of compressive strength).
Best
results: In order to get best results from the use
of this cement, it is recommended to use it correctly
as specified by a structural engineer / expert
technician and to pay attention to the required
cement content, workability and right water-cement
ratio, proper placement and compaction with required
curing for the time period as prescribed.
