The
Tata Chemicals township in Babrala is a self-contained
project, spread across 400 acres. Aesthetically
designed, it has modern facilities, wide circular
roads and is enveloped in greenery.
Though
it is situated in the midst of a rural community,
the township has all the conveniences of modern
urban life: well-lit roads, underground telephone
and electricity cables, and round-the-clock water

Tata Chemicals DAV public school has English and
Hindi medium classes up to the 12th and 6th standards
respectively. The school has endeavoured to secure
the all-round development of its students, who
number 900 at present. It has an internet centre
and, a 1,200-seater auditorium for cultural programmes.
The
township values its visitors, who are housed in
a 44-unit air-conditioned guesthouse, with suites
and special rooms set against an elegant landscaped
backdrop. The guesthouse has an attached clubhouse
for guests and bungalows for dignitaries.
