Tata Chemicals Ltd has reported a 1.26 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 97,81 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 96.59 crore for the same quarter in 2004-05. Total income has increased 18.71 per cent to Rs 1268.63 crore for the third quarter.
