Tata Chemicals Limited, Mithapur and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Ranipet have been named as the winners of the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award Trophy for the year 2004. The awards were announced by Mr Ratan Tata, chairman of the panel of judges, here on Friday. The IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj Award in the service category will be given to i-flex solution Ltd. Hindalco Industries in Sonebhadra, Tata Motors Ltd's Jamshedpur branch, Pt Elegant Textile Industry of Jakarta have received the quality certificate of merit in the manufacturing category.

West Central Railway, Bhopal will be awarded in the small business category. There is a quality commendation certificate in the manufacturing category. R Indo Liberty Textiles in Jakarta, ITC Limited's Chirala quarters and Reliance Industries' refinery division in Jamnagar have received this award. Associated Cement Companies Ltd and Gagal Cement Works and Hi-Tech Carbon's unit, Indian Rayon and Industries Ltd in Renukoot have been named for the same award.
