Mumbai: Tata Chemicals has recorded a 8.32-per-cent decline in net profit at Rs 43.41 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2001, compared to Rs 47.35 crore in same period of previous fiscal.

Net sales for the reporting quarter were lower at Rs 388.06 crore as against Rs 458.07 crore in the same period last year.
