Mumbai: Tata Chemicals
today announced the appointment of Mr. Homi Khusrokhan
as Managing Director with effect from October
16, 2006. Mr. Khusrokhan has been with Tata Chemicals
since April 2004 as Executive Director.
Mr. Khusrokhan takes over the
role from Mr. Prasad R. Menon, who has been at
the helm of the company for the past 6 years and
will now move on to Tata Power as its Managing
Director.
Between 2001 and 2004, Mr.
Khusrokhan was the Managing Director of Tata Tea
Limited, where he strived to build brands like
Tata Tea, Agni and Tetley and played a key role
in the company's growth, both in the domestic
and international markets. Prior to his assignment
with the Tata Group, Mr. Khusrokhan was the Managing
Director of GlaxoSmithKline for 5 years.
