Mumbai:
Tata Chemicals Limited (TCL), India's leading
manufacturer of inorganic chemicals, fertilisers
and food additives, won three awards at the recently
held 44th ABCI (Association of Business Communicators
of India) annual awards ceremony at the Hotel
Taj Mahal in Mumbai.

Corporate Communications was awarded the
first prize in two categories. The first category
was "Corporate Social Responsibility Communications
print media", a campaign that has
as its main purpose, the communication of a company's
efforts in meeting its social responsibilities
beyond its main business. The second category
was the "Digital Communications communications"
to an internal audience using digital media viz.
intranets, e-zines etc. TCL also received a certification
of merit for its multilingual publication
Manthan, which is an internal communication
newsletter.

communications, founded in 1956 and originally
known as the Indian Association of Industrial
editors. ABCI's main objectives are to win recognition
for the profession of business communications
and improve professional skills by organising
activities like seminars, refresher courses, workshops
